I love beauty. It inspires me. Nature is the place where beauty and inspiration meet for me. I go for walks there, looking to shift from what might be stirring me to come to a place of ease inside of myself. It is this experience of peacefulness that assists me in connecting to my inner self. 

When I find that connection, I’m drawn to paint from that place. As an expression of a genuine desire that is deep within me. I found that abstract painting is where I can express that inspiration. It offers me a freedom and intimacy that allows me to express things that cannot be said with words.  

My time in the studio starts without much of a plan. I love sitting in front of the canvas, giving myself time to let the creative process unfold. Once an inspiration reveals itself, I allow the painting to speak to me, coming to a place of trusting what needs to emerge.
